This project is to create a guide to the Egyptian Gods with emphasis on the way they effected the day-to-day lives of the Egyptians Encyclopedia Mythological | By Matthew Cockram (WIP) The Encyclopedia Mythological is a detailed guide to how Mythology effects our modern English language, mainly, focusing on the Classical Mythology, the Encyclopedia is the best Dictionary of English Words stemming from Mythology that you can find anywhere on the internet. Herodotus | By Matthew Cockram and Lucy Slater(Coming Soon!) Herodotus of Halicarnassus is often told to be the first ever historian. During his exile from his own city, the young man set about travelling the world, later writing it all down "in the hope of thereby preserving from decay the remembrance of what men have done," These "Histories of Herodotus" are here analysed by the History Club; along with an introductory section; the use of the modern HESTIA project (which takes the places and information from the histories and puts it on a modified Google Earth); specific articles on the content of the Histories and even a correspondence with Dr. Barker at the Open University who is an expert in the field. |
